Week 24

So after last week's gain/reality check. I have been back on track. I felt great when I went in today. I hopped on the scale and said "this is gonna be good!". As I watched the numbers bounce around (gotta love the digital scales...lol) I was shocked when it stopped at yet another gain. "WTF!?!?!" I was literally shocked. The nurse asked if I was near my cycle and I told her yeah that I should be starting today or tomorrow. She said it was small gain (1.2lbs) that it was probably just weight gain from PMS. I also have drank a lot of diet soda this week (which I never drink) which probably is not helping the water retention either. So I decided it's must be these things plus I could still be having some effects of the 3 weeks of cheating I did. I can't feel guilty for being good so I will chalk it up to that. I have been logging my food again so that helps. I am also going to take some measurements today and write them down along with a body fat percentage. I am going to keep doing everything right for the next 2 weeks and log everything, if things don't turn around it may be that I have hit that lovely thing we call a plateau. If so me and the doctor are gonna look at my current plan and see what we need to tweak. I'm also gonna take a water pill to see if I can flush any water retention out. I'll keep you guys posted as always. Gonna possibly go do a body pump class tonight but my ribs are pretty sorry from my abs class on Monday so i may have to just do some cardio instead. My head is up and I am proud cause I know I have been doing what I should. This will not get me down.
