Week 9

Ok so I managed to squeeze in 2 workouts again this week and yes I did wait until the last 2 days again...lol. What can I say I'm still in that "I really don't wanna do this" mode. I am so looking forward to reaching that point where I crave going to the gym and actually can't wait to do it. So when I went to weigh in today I said "well let's see if this going to the gym crap is paying off" and kinda laughed. I stepped up and the scale and watched the numbers bounce around. (I swear it's like watching biggest loser or celebrity fit club..it feels like they will never stop) So here I am with a look of shock on my face as the nurse says "WOW! It sure is!" I lost 4.6lbs this week which is just unreal to me. So it was certainly motivation to keep going to the gym. I have a training at work next Wednesday so I will not be making my regular weigh in day. I will be going in to work an hour later on Tuesday so I can go to the doctors to weigh in. Which also means I will have to be doing one of my workouts earlier in the week like I should be. Then I will be back to my regular schedule of Wednesday weigh ins. So I now I am really narrowing in on my target. To be honest I even set myself a secondary target of 60lbs just in case I pass the 50lbs before June 4th. Guess I better start figuring out what my next goal is going to be. I am sticking with the 2 times to the gym before next weigh in for this week since it is a shorter week. However I am going to up it to 3 times after that. Here we are in the final stretch of this leg of the race...thanks again for all the support. I think I am going to do what my co worker told me she did (she is on the program as well) she picked up a bulk package of meat close to the weight she had loss so she could have an idea of what was gone from her body. Kinda like when Oprah rolled out that wagon full of fat equal to what she had lost so many years ago. It's really hard to picture it when you try and think about it. To be honest I really can't see it when I look in the mirror (even naked). I mean there are some little changes I see but nothing major, but i see my body everyday so it really is hard to tell. I am by no means doubting that it is gone. Believe me I hear it all the time and some clothes are no longer fitting. The best way for me to tell is my clothes. I am down 6 pants size which is just amazing. Again thanks for all the support.

WOW!!! Melissa, that is awesome. So going to the gym paid off, huh??? That's really awesome. I know you must be thrilled. You WILL reach your goal and then some by June!!! Congrats!
