Ok so all I can say is UGH!! I feel like crap. I have had a headache for 2 days now. I am guessing it is this increase in heat we have had over the past few days. Sunday was 104 and yesterday was 106 so it has been a little hot to say the least, but hey I live in the desert it's to be expected. I think the problem is I have not increased my water to go along with this, so I have got to pay better attention to that. I had a pretty crappy weigh in today because I went from the highest weight loss to the lowest weight loss in the span of 1 week. I of course am trying really hard not to be too critical of myself (yeah right...lol if you know me at all you know it is still happening to some degree). I am a Taurus after all so my analytical side comes out (funny how anal is the beginning of that word). I ran through all the possible reasons for my small weight loss. So here are my "excuses" for it.
1.I had such a huge weight loss last week it was bound to be smaller this week.
2.I had to weigh in a day earlier than usual so I was short a day
3.I feel very bloated (even the nurse asked if I was retaining water)
4.I allowed myself to diet carbonated drinks this week. (no more! these could be helping the retention)
5.I only exercised one day this week (was suppose to last night but my headache pretty much kept me from doing anything)
6.How can I put this delicately...I had a big bowl of bran last night and it hasn't run it's course yet...lol. Sorry tried to be gentle there.
I actually discussed some of these with the nurse and she said that my headache may be from me retaining water and that if I ate a bowl of bran and had not gone yet then I was most definitely retaining water. So my plan is to get over it and take a water pill to try and help flush my system. Also to up the water intake to adjust for this heat. (it is suppose to drop to the mid 70's-80's starting tomorrow and running through the weekend.) I also had set the goal to increase my workout to 3 times a week this week so I will try and make that this week as well. Next weigh in I will actually have an extra day for the one I lost this week so I should be able to recover from this and stay on track for my goal. So here are the stats for the week.
Weight lost this week: .4lbs (I know at least it's still a loss)

Okay girly! I think those are all viable excuses and are in deed the reason for your small weight loss this week. I know how disappointed you are, but keep your head up. A LOSS IS A LOSS!!! You didn't GAIN anything, so that's good! You WILL meet your goal. I'm confident in that! Love you, girl!
Ok! Let's not have another coffee table incident! You are on track and doing great.. your targets are attainable and we're all here rooting for you. The weight you've lost so far is amazing... and actually inspiring! Keep going! That bikini is calling your name!
