So lately the weight loss journey has been very slow. However I am quite happy to say that I made it through Thanksgiving with flying colors. Made some healthier options recipes and took them with me. Made sure at least 75% of my plate was fruit or vegetable, also made sure at least 75% of my plate were my own healthy recipes with only a tiny amount of "the goodstuff". I reenlisted for another 10 weeks of weight watchers. However today I also started Trim Care again to get some medical consultation on my weight loss journey. I love weight watchers and think it is a wonderful program but my only downside with it is that I don't track my daily caloric intake, I just track my points. Granted you use calories as part of finding your point value I usually premark everything with a point value so I don't really see it. I am setting a goal this month to track the calories, fat and protein content for everything I eat. I also am going to commit to preparing my meals (for work) the night before instead of rushing in the morning (and sometimes not picking the healthiest choice in turn). My weight has been up and down all month thanks to lack of exercise (thank you bronchitis) and reactions to some meds I have been on. All that is behind and I am moving forward. i made the realization that every time I get on track something throws me off course. I am accepting that this is part of the detox process that your body goes through as you begin to eat healthier and exercise. In the past I would give up and quit now I am just working through it with the end in site. : )
