Week 18

Well it's an odd weigh in day for me. I didn't lose anything & I didn't gain anything, I stayed exactly the same as last week. I'm not actually upset about it either, which in all honesty is kind of stranger. I was a little shocked because I really thought I was gonna have a great weigh in this week. For the first time I looked in the mirror (about 2 days ago) and could actually see a difference. Now I know that sounds weird that I've lost nearly 60lbs and haven't really been able to see it but I haven't. I mean I know it's happened by the scale and how things fit and sometimes I can see little changes in some places like my thighs but nothing that even remotely resembles that much weight. There are several reasons that I am not upset and I think that my weight is the same as last week.
1. because I really saw a difference in my body it told me that change is really happening
2. I could only get a hair appointment or early this morning so I didn't weigh in till almost 1pm so by then I had eaten twice and drank over 30oz of water so that quite possibly affected the outcome. If you are a woman you know how our weight fluctuates from morning to night...lol.
3. I have been hitting the gym very regular at least 3 times a week so I may have gained some muscle and muscle weighs more than fat.
Either way I am totally ok with the weigh in which makes me even more proud of myself. I bought a body fat caliper a few weeks ago but tried usuing it and kept getting different outcomes so I'm gonna take it in with me to the new trainer I am working with on Friday to see if he can show me how to pinch correctly so I can estimate my body fat percentage each week as well. I knew as I began to work out the numbers would slow down and that was the reason I bought it to help keep me motivated. The trainer I worked with the other day didn't really know how to use it which kind of made me wonder how good she could be. (I think it's a tool a trainer should know how to use) If not I know the guy at my work can show me how to use it I just have to remember to bring it with me to work. Anyways I just wanted to fill you guys in and let you know my weekly weigh in results. Thanks for the support!

BTW I'm already gonna have to buy another bathing suit because the one I bought in April is already too loose and baggy. I bought it extra snug so it would last me through the summer but guess that idea is out the window...lol! (that's not really a bad thing) Someone at work suggested I try washing it and then drying it a few times in the dryer to see if it will shrink a little, which is a good idea because I always let it air dry. At first I thought I could get the straps altered but now the bottom is a little saggy too...lol. Oh well like I said that isn't a bad thing.
